Koru Pounamu

The spiral symbolizes a Koru, embodying the fern unfurling to introduce new life and purity into the world. Additionally, it conveys notions of peace, tranquility, and spiritual growth, signifying rejuvenation and fresh starts.  The Koru is also often associated with nurturing so when interlocked with others is frequently used to represent the strength and purity of a loving relationship with family.
